Wild Animals: Red-tailed Hawk

This Red-tailed Hawk was quite curious about the Saturday farmers market in October of 2020 and flew quite close to the ground. Meredith Brady of Our Eye Photography was able to capture this spectacular image. Red-tailed Hawks are among the most common raptors in North America, and can often be seen soaring over the fields at Casey Farm. Other raptors like Ospreys also nest in the area, catching fish in the bay.
