Wild Animals: Fish

Narragansett Bay is home to a wide variety of fish species, including menhaden, black sea bass, striped bass, flounder, bluefish, and scup. This little school seen in the “nursery” of the tidal pool at Casey Point are juvenile striped killifish (aka mummichogs). When they grow up, the males will all have vertical stripes and the females will all have horizontal stripes.
