Wild Animals: Honeybee on a Water Lily

We cultivate honeybees on the farm thanks to a talented beekeeper who is a workshare volunteer in the CSA program. In return for the flowers we grow, they give us delicious honey, and the invaluable service of pollinating plants. The water lily was planted in our old horse trough by Nelumbo Water Gardens.
