Wild Animals: Monarch Butterfly

Monarchs like native plants, such as this Joe Pye Weed, which we grow in a meadow. They are not only highly recognizable and beautiful, they are beneficial pollinators. The butterflies migrate by the millions to California and Mexico for the winter.
