Farm House Piazza

The fantastic piazza, or open porch, is definitely missed today. Posing on it in the 1870s were likely the tenant farmers Thomas and Sadie Gould on the bench to the left of the front door with daughter Sarah reading nearby, and oldest daughter Idella (who was legally blind) on the right. Harry’s little brother Ned, who would inherit the farm one day, sits with his back to a knotty pine post. The people who manage agriculture on the farm today posed in 2020. From left to right: Farmhands Cameron Feifer and Sam Kronyak, farm manager Lindie Markovich, animal caretaker Mason Hawes, and assistant farm manager Maryelizabeth Perreira.
