Three generations of Abigail’s family owned Casey Farm, beginning in 1702. Her parents, Daniel and Mary Coggeshall, ran a prosperous plantation here and built this house in about 1750. The family were members of the Society of Friends. One of eight children, Abigail raised ten children with her husband Silas.
