Winter

Winter signals it is time to button down and plan for next year. There is still plenty of activity, with holiday programs for children inside the farm house and winter ecology programs we bring to classrooms, and a Wreath Workshop for adults in the barn and greenhouse. Farmers keep active outside by clearing walls and tending to animals. Our flocks of hardy heritage breed chickens keep laying eggs which we are able to sell in the share barn. Soon it is time to start planting seeds in the heated greenhouse so the cycle of the year can start again.
